U19 A Coaches (Head and Assistant) are required to complete the following:
Coach Initiation in Sport (This must be completed prior to registering for the CI Clinic)
CI Coaching Clinic (Certified)***
Making Ethical Decisions Clinic**
Making Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation*
Respect in Sport – Activity Leaders
Bench Staff Code of Conduct
Child Abuse Registry
* The Making Ethical Decisions Online Evaluation can only be accessed once you have completed the Making Ethical Decisions Clinic. To access the online evaluation you will go to www.coach.ca and log into the locker. If you do not know your login information please contact Tracy Clegg.
** If you are unable to attend the Making Ethical Decisions in class sessions that are scheduled. Please contact Hailey Unger at Coaching Manitoba for information on any clinics they may be running or to complete Making Ethical Decisions by home study. If you are completing a home study version of the course it must be in the Coaching Manitoba office no later than January 1st.
*** At this level coaches must be certified in CI. To complete the certification process coaches must submit a portfolio for evaluation to Ringette Manitoba, as well as have an on ice evaluation scheduled through Ringette Manitoba.
At least one coach at the U19 A level must be a CI Certified female.
