Ringette Manitoba offers a variety of Player Development opportunities to benefit the players in our Province.
Ringskate
Ringskate is held annually at East End Arena (517 Pandora Avenue East) the first few weeks of September. Ringskate focuses on skating and shooting and is offered for ages U10 and up. The clinic is designed to get players prepared for tryouts and get moving after a Summer away from Ringette.
You get 6 x 60 minute sessions for $125.00 plus GST. All sessions are run by certified Ringette Manitoba Player Development Instructors.
Powerskating sessions are for players U10 and up.
Full Equipment is mandatory to participate.
Deadline to register is August 1st at noon.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds will only be honored if accompanied by a Doctor’s Certificate. There will be a 25% admin fee on all refunds.

Academy
Ringette Manitoba is excited to announce the return of our Athlete Development Academy. The purpose of the academy is to provide equal player development opportunity and quality instruction for ALL players interested in improving their skills and understanding of the game.
The Athlete Development Academy consists of intense sessions with instruction from some of our very best Ringette Manitoba Instructors.
FULL EQUIPMENT IS MANDATORY TO PARTICIPATE
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE BASIS. GET YOUR APPLICATION IN EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.

Powerskating and Game Tactics
The purpose of power skating is to build on a strong skating foundation to improve overall edge control, agility, and speed with movements to challenge the athletes. Tactic ringette school focuses on overall game actions for successful execution to reaching the opposing net to score. Starting with defensive tactics, and moving down the neutral zone, to the offensive end, athletes will learn how to successfully achieve their goals.

Powerskating and Game Tactics – GOALIES
This ice time will be held at the same time as the skaters. A Goalie Instructor will be on the ice to provide goalie specific instruction as well as provide feedback when receiving shots from the skaters. There will only be four goalies per ice session.

Summer Camp
Date: July 7-11 2025
Location: Gateway Arena
Drop off: 7:30-8:30am
Pick up 4:00-5:00pm
Ages: R4U, U10, U12/U14
When registering, please register for the division the athlete will be in the 2025/2026 season.
Registration opens February 3rd at 8am.
Application Deadline: May 1st, 2025
R4U – I hour ice time daily, 1-2 Dryland/Movement sessions per day
U10 – 1 x 1.5 hour ice times daily, 1 Dryland/Movement session per day
U12/U14 – 2 x 1 hour ice times daily, 1-2 Dryland/Movement session per day
Focus:
- Throughout this one week summer camp, there will be many skills sessions with a variety of focuses from power skating, shooting, defensive and offensive tactics, and more! Team building activities for athletes as well as guest speakers to motivate athletes for the upcoming season. Sessions will include nutrition, sports psychology, and coach talks with high-performance ringette athletes and coaches.
- All levels are welcome (including AA athletes!). Our certified on-ice instructors know how to adapt movements and skills for every athlete to excel at any skill level.
- Focus will be adapted to the level of athletes in the group and may vary from level to level.
- A variety of fun activities will be offered throughout the week.

Players must provide full equipment, water bottle, hat, sunscreen and a bag lunch each day. If other events are scheduled and require additional gear (i.e. bathing suit), families will be notified well in advance.
Winter Break Camp
Throughout this Camp, there will be 2 ice times daily filled with skills sessions with a variety of focuses from power skating, shooting, defensive and offensive tactics, and more! Team building activities for athletes as well as special guests to motivate athletes for the second half of the season!
A variety of fun activities will also be offered throughout the week such as soccer, lacrosse, team building games, etc.
Players of all abilities are welcome in the camp.
