Ringette Manitoba would like to thank the 2022 Niverville Host Society, Town of Niverville, Sport Manitoba, Manitoba Hydro, and the presenting sponsors Credit Unions of Manitoba, Calm Air, Konica Minolta, Travel Manitoba, and the Manitoba Dental Association for your investment in the 2022 Games and understand the decision to cancel was difficult, however, made with the wellbeing of the participants at heart.

A special thank you to the Ringette CO Chairs, Brian and Dave, as well as Marci from Sport Manitoba, for generously sharing of your time, energy and passion for our sport of Ringette! Should Niverville elect to host the next games, we look forward to reconnecting in Niverville!

In light of the recent announcement Ringette Manitoba is exploring opportunities for athletes, coaches, and officials’ development. Details will be communicated to the membership and community once confirmed with our Partners.

The Manitoba Winter Games Powered by Manitoba Hydro are the Province’s largest ongoing multi-sport program bringing together participants from across the Province. The winter games are held every four years.

The Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro are a major sport development program of Sport Manitoba and Ringette Manitoba places high value on the Games. Participating in the Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro will make a significant contribution to the ongoing development and growth of our sport, enabling our athletes to take their personal sport development to the next level.

The games are an exciting event for participating athletes, coaches, officials and spectators. There is an opening and closing ceremonies, and athletes will stay in an athletes village as a team.

The 2022 Games will be held in Niverville, Manitoba February 26 – March 5. Ringette Manitoba expects to send 6 regional teams to the event. Winnipeg East, Winnipeg West, South Region, East Region, West Region and North Region. All at the U14 A age level.
