This study is the first step in clearly defining a pathway for boys and men in ringette as per Ringette Canada 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. This research will give Ringette Canada a better snapshot of the reality of the situation across Canada so that they can continue to work towards finding solutions to improve the experience of the sport for everyone. The Research Laboratory for the Advancement of Women in Sports in Quebec (PROFEMS Lab) at Laval University is conducting a research project in collaboration with Ringette Canada to better understand how the inclusion of boys is impacting the sport of ringette.
