2017 WCRC Call for Hostesses
At this time the 2017 WCRC Committee will not be accepting any additional applications due to the overwhelming response they have received.
The 2017 Western Canadian Ringette Championships will be held in Winnipeg from March 22 – 25, 2017 at the Seven Oaks and Gateway Arenas. Provincial winning teams will be here from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba at the U14AA, U16A, U19A, and Open 1 levels to compete.
The organizing committee is seeking current ringette players, born between 2005 and 2006 (U12 players) to be team hostesses. Hostesses will be assigned to one of 20 teams (U14AA, U16A, and U19A) and they will be their biggest supporter, get to hang with the team, and participate in team activities including the opening and closing ceremonies.
Although some games will be held during the day, attendance during school hours is not mandatory but is welcomed.
If you are interested in being a WCRC 2017 Team Hostess, please send an email to wcrc2017@gmail.com to apply. Applications will be taken up to February 15, 2017. When submitting your request to be a Hostess, please include “Request to be WCRC 2017 Hostess” in the subject line. Team Hostesses will be selected and notified by March 1, 2017.
