Tracy Clegg – Coach Developer
Tracy is a wife, mother of four children and a dog mom. She typically spends most of her time in the kitchen cooking and baking. Over the past 30 years, ringette continues to impact Tracy’s life. Shes started as a player then switched roles to a supportive ringette mom, coach, and dedicated volunteer in the Interlake for over ten years.
In 2015, Tracy became a Coaching Facilitator for Ringette Canada and continued to run coaching clinics in Manitoba. Tracy is continuing to expand her knowledge for developing coaches in preparation for her new role as Ringette Manitoba’s coach developer. She can’t wait to bring all her experience and expertise to the Manitoba coaches this season.
Katie Schoenborn – Program Coordinator
Hi there! My name is Katie, and I am the program coordinator for the 2020/2021 season. For over 15 years, ringette has impacted my life through coaching, playing, reffing, instructing and evaluating. Collaboratively over the past seasons, I work with Ringette Manitoba to ensure ringette succeeds throughout all age groups. I have recently taken a lead role in the Ringette4U program creating all lesson plans and adjusting game formats. For the past two years, I have been the provincial coordinator.
I am graduating in December of 2020 with a bachelor of kinesiology from The University of Winnipeg. With my education in applied health and human performance with focuses on program planning, budgeting, sport ethics, movement education, and motor performance, I am confident I will assist the ringette community in Manitoba during this adjusted season. I am looking forward to a great year!
